The Phoenix-2 has an indestructible, one piece construction, being milled from a single piece of 6mm thick z60 steel and finished with a professionally sharpened edge.The blade of Kizlyar military knves is coated with matt black oxide finish to minimise light reflection. For the grip - a one piece Elastron handle is moulded securely into the tang of the knife, the end of which protrudes and can be used as an expedient field hammer, should the need arise. Good knives need an equally good method of retention, and thus, aswell as making exceptional knives, Kizlyar also make excellent sheaths and scabbards.
