Samur

The Samur is the heavier brother of the Pechora. Although both knives have an identical profile, the Samur's false edge is shorter, therefore making this knife heavier in the tip and more suited for chopping and hacking tasks. Therefore, if you like the design of the Pechora, but would prefer a heavier knife then the Samur will be the right choice for you.
